Wednesday: the middle of the week. You already went through the stress of Monday and Tuesday, but you're just a tad exhausted for the rest of the week. That's where whiskered animals come in to effortlessly whisk you away.

There's something so adorable about whiskers. Why do some animals have these little sticks poking out of their face right around the mouth area? The aesthetic is innately pure and cute, that's why we find ourselves drawn to these critters. Wednesdays are right smack in the middle of the week. They live in a liminal space between your own individual energy. The beginning of the week usually has a burst of energy to cease the week with. And of course the end of the week has a certain essence of energy due to the natural excitement for the end of the week and weekend preparations. But Wednesday? Who even likes Wednesday. That's exactly why we need the help of these whiskered animals to whisk us away, because at Animal Comedy we know it's not always easy to do alone. By Wednesday, routines have settled in. The initial motivation of the week might have faded, and the weekend still feels just out of reach. It's the day where things can feel a little heavier, a little slower. At least by the end of Wednesday there's a stronger sense of renewed energy, at least for me. The beginning of the day can feel so arduous, but I always use silly, cutesy critters to get me to the other side of the day. The cold, brisk morning up to the end of the day and suddenly my bad mood whisked itself away. Critters are so important for us to befriend, not just for our energy levels throughout the week, but for a better appreciation for the innocent. The world is always showing us bad new, negative things, and rage bait. It can be so empowering to choose a docile and sensible sense of the world, and observe content that's simply meant to heal, not to get us enraged.
